It’s very seldom that you see an entire nation raised up to do God’s will. In different times God will use different nations to accomplish His will, but it is rare that those nations are brought together and formed for the will of God to be accomplished. The only two that stand out is the nation of Israel and the nation of the United States of America. Israel was raised up to be a witness and example to the rest of the world as to how God operates with the human race. They were for them to show the world the ways of God and what would happen to a nation that chose to serve God.

That was under the Old Covenant, the Old Testament. That is not to say that the Lord is done with the nation of Israel because He is not. However, we live in the New Testament, under the new covenant with Jesus Christ. I believe, and I’m not alone, that the United States of America was raised up by God Almighty to be a lighthouse of the goodness of God. It was raised up to show people how God operates in the New Testament. It was to show people the blessings of God under the New Covenant. It was to raise up, train up, and send out missionaries to the rest of the world to tell them about the goodness of God through Jesus Christ. If you look back at the founding of this nation, by the pilgrims coming to America for freedom of religion, how Plymouth rock was founded as a deserted Indian settlement – you can see God’s hand and every part.

Did you know that where the Pilgrims landed was once an Indian settlement and the tribe that lived there was so brutal and vicious that no other Indian tribe would deal with them? But somehow, mysteriously, according to other Indian tribes, this Indian tribe died off and all other Indian tribes were too scared to go near the land when the Pilgrims landed there. This meant that no Indian tribes would attack the Pilgrims, ensuring that they had a safe place to settle. You can go back to this point when settlers came to this area, then to when we became the United States of America and all throughout the history of this nation and see where God was working. You can see, looking at the founding documents of this nation and the writers of it’s leaders, and outside witnesses that we were founded as a Christian nation. The United States of America was raised up by God for His purpose and for His will. If you will look at the nation of Israel, as the people followed Him and sought after His will – no one – No devil in Hell could stop them from accomplishing God’s will for their nation. It is safe and historically accurate to say that, according to the Bible and history, that as the people of the United States pray and take their authority and follow after God, that no devil in Hell can stop this nation from accomplishing the will of God. No other religion, no other viewpoints, nation or political agenda can change the course of this nation as long as God’s people – the church – will follow Him and do what He says to do. It is impossible. Stay with the Word and the Spirit.
