Even before the pandemic happened, the idea of a virus outbreak was a popular theme in books and sci-if movies and TV shows. There’s all these different shows and movies where a virus is spread across the world and destroys everything, and people are trying to find a cure and save humanity.

And usually when they find somebody who’s been infected with whatever disease it is, they’re called a carrier. They carry the disease and that’s how it spreads. That’s how it happens in the movies and that’s how it happens in real life.

Well did you know, if you’re Christian, you’re a carrier as well. I’m not talking about some disease or infection. You’ve been redeemed from all disease or infection because of what Christ did on the cross (Galatians 3:13). I’m talking about something far more important. You are a carrier of the life of God.

Just as those diseases live inside those people in the movies, the life of God lives and dwells in you if you’re a Christian. You have the life of God in you. But unlike the movies, it’s the exact opposite for the Christian. Whereas that disease destroys the body and tears it down and hurts humanity, the life of God in you builds your body up, makes you a success in life, and blesses all humanity.

You may be thinking, that’s all fine and dandy, but I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t see any of that stuff happening in my life.

That’s okay if you don’t see it, but let’s change that before you finish reading this. Because you should see it happening if you are born again, if you’re a Christian, if Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior, and you’re a son or daughter of Almighty God. I see a lot of Christians out there and I don’t see any of this stuff happening in their life either. I don’t see blessings and success, the life of God, overflowing awesomeness and love coming out of them. But you know what, that doesn’t change the fact that it is the truth. None of that changes what the Word of God says. And the Word is true.

Just because it’s God’s will, that doesn’t mean it’s automatically going to happen. It’s God’s will that everyone be saved from their sins, but not everyone is saved. That awesomeness that is the life of God that dwells in you – you have to do something with it.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. – Romans 8:11 NKJV

and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. – Ephesians 1:19-21 NKJV

If the Bible says it, you believe it. Stop listening to anything else that says anything contrary to it because that will hinder your faith and your spiritual growth. Stop believing what you see and start believing the Word of God. The Bible says God is true and let every man be a liar.

Do you know what that means? It means you cannot base the truth on what you see going on in someone’s life. You can’t base what is true on experience. You can’t base what is true by what someone says. You base what is true on what the Word of God says. You base truth on God. If the Word of God says that the life of God is living inside of you, the life of God is living on the inside of you! And it will cause you to be a success, it will bring life, it will bless everything it touches – because that’s what the Word of God says.

Mark 16 and Matthew 27 tells us that believers are to lay hands on the sick and they will recover. It doesn’t say they’re going to stay sick. It says they will recover. Do you know why they’re going to recover? It really doesn’t have anything to do with the believer, besides obedience. It has to do with the life of God residing in the believer and when they lay their hands on someone (when they have faith in God’s Word and obey what it says), the life of God that’s in them will flow out of their hands and into the other people because that disease has to die, dry up, and leave the other person’s body. It has no choice. It must bow to the life of God that’s in you. It has to obey the authority of Jesus Christ. It has to bow at the name of Jesus and the authority that you have to use that name.

The Bible says the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you and me free from the law sin and death. Life resides in you. The life of God in you, if you allow God to work through you, will set people free from sin and death. Are you willing? Will you believe? It’s up to you because you’re a carrier.
