Did you know that God is not obligated to answer your prayers? No matter how hard you beg, and plead, and cry, He is not obligated to answer them. It doesn’t matter how many times you pray, it doesn’t matter, how hard you pray, He is not obligated to answer them. He’s obligated Himself, for sure. But it’s not to your prayers.
God has obligated Himself to His Word. That means that if you pray in faith, according to His Word, you will get your prayers answered 100% of the time. Don’t believe it? See what the Bible says.
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? – Numbers 23:19
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11
My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. – Psalm 89:34
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. – Matthew 24:35
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. – 2 Corinthians 1:20
…that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. – Hebrews 6:18
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. – 2 Timothy 2:13
This means if we get in faith, and pray, according to God’s Word, we’re going to get our prayers answered. Technically though, you can’t be in faith, if you’re not in God’s Word. Faith comes from knowing the will of God, which is the Word of God (Romans 10:16). Faith is built up by hearing the Word of God. So you have to know God’s will, if you’re going to be in faith.
Everything that we receive from God, comes through faith. Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God. If you don’t have faith, then you’re just a flat broke Christian. That’s a fact. But you can get faith by getting in the Word.
We’re told that God rewards those that come to Him in faith, not out of devotion, or need, or in tears. That doesn’t mean that God isn’t compassionate and loving. It just means that He has established a framework, a law of how He works when it comes to us receiving from Him.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. – Hebrews 11:6
And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. – Matthew 21:22
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. – Mark 11:24
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord. – James 1:6-7
For in it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’ – Romans 1:17
But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. – Galatians 3:22
So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. – Galatians 3:9
The 100% guaranteed way to get your prayers answered every time is to pray in faith. That means you have to know God’s will, then you have to get it settled in your heart, and then you pray, believe that you received it when you pray, and then you will have it. At that point, you stand rejoicing, just as Paul and Silas did in the prison, and the answer will come. You don’t doubt or become double-minded. You stand steadfast in your faith, knowing you have what you’ve prayed for and it is yours!
