When You Put The Natural And Supernatural Together…

May 8, 2013 By Krist Leave a Comment

When you put the natural and supernatural together, you create an explosive for for God.

I know a pastor who says that all the time. It’s a great saying and its a great Biblical truth. All throughout the Bible you see the two coming together and making something awesome happen. A boy broad his loaves and fish to Jesus and He blessed it and something explosive happened. After People was filled with the Spirit on the day of Pentecost he stood up and preached and thousands where saved.

Today is no different. We just have different tools. Today we pray and get God’s plan, do that- post something on Facebook, create a graphic for a sermon series, or any of the other numerous things that come across our path in the day and something supernatural happens. People get saved. Families are added to a church that hasn’t had a new member in years. You create a graphic for an event because you were anointed to create that particular graphic and people come because of it, get healed, get set free, get saved. Something supernatural happens.

But it happens as we do our part, our part of God’s plan for us. We are co-laborers together with Him. When we do our part – the natural side, God will do His (the supernatural side) and something awesome will happen.

It won’t happen if we sit around and just wait for God, even Moses and the 120 in the upper room had to do something. They had to get where God said to go. Find out what God wants you to do, how He wants you to do t and watch the explosive power of God work in your life.

What the Bible (and History) Actually Says About the Messiah

I read a comment the other day that laid out a very detailed list on what the Jewish Messiah was supposed to be and do, and then made the claim that Jesus didn’t meet those qualifications. It was well said, however, it was a little misleading. I’m not sure if it was unintentional (I’d like […]

Why the Best Argument Isn’t Always the Truth

The world has always seemingly thrived on a good debate. One person wins, another loses—one point-of-view or truth reigns supreme while another cowers in the shadows from the humiliating defeat. Though one-on-one debates have been around since time began, that doesn’t mean the debates themselves are the best of things. That definitely doesn’t mean that […]

How Early Is the New Testament, Really?

If you spend any time in comment sections of any video or article about the reliability of the Bible, you’ve probably seen claims like this: “The New Testament wasn’t written until way later,” or “Most of it wasn’t confirmed before 100 AD,” which is usually followed up by something like, “It’s all made up.” It […]

What Does Pride Look Like

Pride goes before the fall, even if you don’t know it’s pride. Many times we do things or walk in things or fall for a trap because we simply don’t know. We’re ignorant. We’ve been deceived. It happens. In fact, it happens to everyone. No one is excluded. We can all join this club. It’s […]
